About The Accommodation

Apartment Ka Star offers quality accommodation in a newly renovated and modern apartment in the center of Karlovac, 49 km from Zagreb and 77 km from the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The apartment is located in a residential building, which is located in a small street, about 200m from the river Kupa, only 12 minutes away from the town’s most popular bathing spot Foginovo kupalište and 5 minutes drive from the freshwater aquarium Aquatika.
The accommodation is suitable for a family vacation in Karlovac, as well as for those who love recreation vacation, fishing and river rafting.

The accommodation capacity of the apartment is for 4-6 persons and contains a small living room and a dining area with fully equipped kitchen (a fridge, a stove, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle) and a bathroom. The apartment has two bedrooms, one featuring a king - size bed 180 x 200 and the other two single beds 90 x 200. In the living room there is a couch who can serve as an extra bed for 1 or 2 persons.
The apartment has air conditioning, satellite TV, Internet .. A free parking space is provided in front of the entrance to the building.

Having grown in size, the town eventually covered another two river tributaries, the Mrežnica and the river Dobra. The largest river is the Kupa which flows through the center of the town.

In Karlovac is the only freshwater aquarium in Croatia - Aquatika. Aquatika is the only freshwater aquarium in Croatia and in this part of Europe, where visitors can follow the life of the Karst river from the source to the estuary, with all the plant and animal species. There are more than 100 species of freshwater fish in 25 aquarium pools, out of which 20 are endemic species.
